Patient Care

You get only one set of adult teeth.Take care of them. Implants, bridges, and dentures work, but are orders of magnitudes less fulfilling than keeping your own teeth. Here are some simple tips to help keep your teeth healthier, longer:
  • Use a powered toothbrush.  They do a more thorough and more consistent job than manual brushing. Think of the difference between sanding by hand and using an orbital sander. But it's not just intuitive ...the research confirms this!

SPECIAL OFFER   for new patients: For a limited time, come in for an exam and cleaning (including scaling and polishing) and we'll give you a complimentary Braun Oral-B Rechargeable Toothbrush!

  • Floss at least once a day.  Brushing without flossing is like washing only two-thirds of your body. The other one-third remains dirty. Flossing takes only a minute or two and your teeth and gums will thank you when you're seventy. Remember -- floss only the teeth you want to keep.

  • Visit your dentist.  Regular dental visits may be financially difficult for some but ignoring dental problems can result very often in costlier and more time consuming treatment when such problems could have been avoided by less expensive, quicker preventive measures. Go at least once a year  ...twice a year if possible.
